Vanderpump Rules star Scheana Marie and her boyfriend Robert Valletta have broken up.
Robert himself revealed the surprising split via an Instagram post.
The actor was asked where his “beautiful girlfriend” was in the comments section of an Instagram photo he shared on Tuesday, October 17, and Robert responded, “Sadly we broke up, we are still amazing friends and we adore each other. We will see what happens.”
He has since deleted that comment, but multiple media outlets are also confirming this split.
This news comes a week after it was reported that Scheana was missing her ex-husband Mike Shay and wondering if she made a mistake in divorcing him.
“Scheana is lonely from her divorce,” an insider revealed last week. “She loves her new boyfriend, but Rob is very independent and has a full-time job and doesn’t always have time for her,” the insider added.
As for what caused this break up, a source tells E! News the couple simply didn’t have time for each other.
“Because of work commitments, Scheana and Rob felt it best to hit pause on their relationship for now. They’re still very involved in each other’s lives and remain optimistic about their future,” said the insider.
A second source however reveals it’s possible the couple might get back together in the future.
“Right now the timing isn’t right for them romantically but he has nothing but good things to say about Scheana. He’d be open to reconnecting maybe at some point but it’s just not the right time now to date,” the second insider adds. “They’re still in touch, of course. They won’t stop being friends but Rob considers himself pretty single right now.”
Scheana, 32, and Robert, 35, began dating early this year, months before her divorce from ex-husband Mike was finalized in April. Her castmate Jax Taylor even criticized her relationship recently, stating she was moving too fast with Robert.
