Ritter loves animals and she is an animals rights activist. She has done various advertising campaigns for PETA. She has also taken part in the Autism fundraiser and she does this every year. She hasn't made comments on any other political topics. 

Ritter has been in a relationship with Brian Geraghty from 2011 to 2013 and Ivan Sergei from 2009-2010. She is currently dating Adam Granduciel. They have been dating for three years now.

Ritter enjoys knitting in her free time. She has created a DIY knitting kit for everyone. She partnered with We Are Knitters. She also enjoys going on walks with her dog.

She started her careers as a model at the age of 15.

She plays the guitar and sings in band called Ex Vivian.

She has a pet cow named Jake.
