Pattinson is English but he did mention that he is a Catholic. He mentioned he also a mormon, ones who abstain from sex before marriage. But like observed before Pattinson often says weird things in front of the media. For now its easy to say that he is a Catholic but not a devout religious.

Pattinson hasn't spoken about his political views. He wanted to get involved in politics but couldn't study further. He supports causes or charities like American Foundation for Aids Research, GO Campaign, International Medical Corps, Midnight Mission, PACT and Stand Up To Cancer.

Pattinson was dating co-star Kristen Stewart for about four years before the couple split up because Stewart was supposedly had an affair with the Snow White and the Huntsman director, Rupert Sanders. After asking many times, Pattinson confirmed in an interview in 2013 that he and Kristen had broken up. He is currently dating singer FKA Twigs since September 2014 and the couple got engaged in April 2015.

Pattinson loves listening to music, playing his guitar and piano in his free time. He also loves playing darts and pool. He likes watching movies and before he became famous he would collect many DVDs.

He learned how to scuba dive for his role in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.

He is a big Marlon Brando and Jack Nicholson fan.
