The movie is a sequal of a trialogy of Director Park Suk-youn movie series. the two movies which befor the movie are Wild Flowers and Steel Flower.

The plot of the Ash Flower 2017 is about a young girl who left alone and her mother hase gone and she is the one who look after her family.  She life a quite life in countryside and apperance of a young girl create lots of changes in her life.
