The American 9/11 terrorist attacks shook the world. Thousands of people around the world were affected by it, some physically and some mentally. Surprisingly, even thouugh the Indian and the US audiences were so much in sync, there have been only a few films about the 9/11 attacks, one being Madhoshi – possibly the only supernatural film with a 9/11 reference. Anupama is a young woman who lives with her parents in Mumbai, while her Sister and brother-in-law are in the states. On the eve of her parent’s 25th wedding anniversary, while she is on the phone with her sister, the attacks of 9/11 happen. She loses her sister and brother-in-law in the attacks. After a couple of years, she meets an advertising professional, Arpit, and falls in love with him.
