Marathi Cinema is coming up with some great concepts this year. Ashwini Bhave, Sumedh Mudgalkar, and Rohit Phalke act in ‘Manjha’, a psychological thriller. We also have “Lapachhapi’, which is an out and out horror film – and we loved the Trailer. We love horror films that have an Indian context to it, and Lapachhapi seems to have that. What starts out as a warm, family outing in a field quickly turns into a trailer full of jump scares and more information about a storyline that has definitely interested us. Vishal Furia directs ‘Lapachhapi’. Pooja Sawant looks quite promising in her role. The trailer isn’t clear about whether she’s playing two roles or whether it’s the same person in two getups.
