Marathi films have evolved a lot since the nineties. Today, the budget and production values of these films are equivalent to a Bollywood Film. This allows film-makers to explore genres that have one sees rarely, like ‘Maanjha’. The trailer and the synopsis, both have us highly interested. The synopsis says that Maanjha has three main characters, Ashwini Bhave, who plays the mother. Rohit Phalke, who plays the son and @Beatking_Sumedh Sumedh Mudgalkar, who plays the son’s friend. The Marathi film Manjha is a psychological thriller and the trailer is impressive. We particularly liked Sumedh Mudgalkar, who plays the antagonist. The guy has a good, understated take on his character and that’s one of the plus points in the film. Rohit Phalke is perfect as the little naughty little innocent son. Of course, Maanjha promises to be Ashwini Bhave’s powerhouse performance and we are looking forward to it. Maanjha releases July 21. Watch the trailer here:
