Lapachhapi Promises to be India’s First Child Horror Film

Hollywood has done it quite a few times,  looks like Marathi cinema will do it this time, a Horror Film based on children. Children of the Corn is supposed to be one of the scariest Hollywood horror films and the Marathi film Lapachhappi promises the same kind of terror with its first poster. The teasers of the film have been talking about a game of some kind and the first poster shows the handiwork of children at play. Actually, Lapachhapi in English means ‘hide and seek’, so that’s another hard proof that this Marathi horror film has something to do with kids. Directed by Vishal Furia, the film stars Pooja Sawant, Usha Naik, Vikram Gaikwad and Anil Gawas, Lapachhapi releases 14 July.
