After its 2005 debut, Cambodia is returning to Miss Earth with the appointment of Em Kun Thong as Miss Earth Cambodia 2017.

Em Kun Thong was the first runner-up at Miss Cambodia 2016 and was recently declared as Miss Earth Cambodia 2017.

She is 18 years old and a freelance model. And the 2017 Miss Earth finals will be a big stage for her, vying for the prestigious title. Em Kun Thong hopes to be the first ever Cambodian to win an international beauty title.

“We acquired the national directorship. We will send a beautiful delegate to Miss Earth this year.” This was the statement released by Romyr Libo-on, managing director of Arise Agency, the new Cambodian franchise holder for Miss Earh.

Cambodia debuted in Miss Earth in 2005 with Mealea Pich.
