Lionsgate home Entertainment will be releasing The Girl with All the Gifts on Blu-ray. The home entertainment release will take place in late April. As well, Universal Studios Home Entertainment will host a Canadian Blu-ray release, in April. The film, from director Colm McCarthy and adapted from Mike Carey's novel, involves a virulent plague and an army unit's attempt to prevent its spread. One young girl may have the cure, or she may just be a Trojan Horse, leading to the destruction of man. This critic saw the film at the Victoria International Film Festival and it is a well crafted thriller, worthy of attention.
