You will be tempted to lounge all day at the terrace of your boutique hotel, a glass of Sangiovese in hand, watching yachts glide in the cerulean waters. Do not give in. The 34-mile Amalfi coastline teems with colorful seaside towns, towering limestone cliffs, and over a hundred beaches you will not want to miss.

3. Tanzania

4. The Balearic Islands

Mallorca is for art and history lovers. The majestic Cathedral of Santa Maria of Palma, an expansive 15th-century gothic church, is something you cannot miss.
