BY JAMIE We’ve been in Peru now for exactly two weeks. Since we are both working during the weekdays we haven’t had that much to tell so far. We’ve mostly hung out in Barranco and Miraflores and ate a lot 😉 But last weekend we finally managed to go out of the city for some adventure time! If you only have two days you can’t actually get all that far from Lima if you don’t want to fly. But there are two awesome locations within less than 5 hours of a bus ride that are a perfect fit for a weekend trip. One of them is Paracas and that is where we were headed. Hiccups On The Way To Paracas We had booked a rental car because we are used to driving ourselves and thought it would be the easiest. On Friday afternoon we realized that we had accidentally booked a car without any miles included. We had just packed our stuff and wanted to leave – good catch.
