We returned from Japan in early October. Our destination for this trip was Sapporo of Hokkaido.
During our previous trip to Honshu, Kansai, nobody asked us where we came from. But the situation was totally different when we were in Sapporo.
Perhaps Sapporo residents are more friendly then those from Kansai region. When we answered that we are from Malaysia, their reactions were invariably weird.
May be the unusual respond of the Japanese is either because of 1MDB scandal or three uncivilized Malaysians had defecated in the shower of a home-stay apartment in Osaka, Japan.
