On Thursday the 28th of August, there was the St. Giles Boat Party who really was amazing. We sailed around on the Thames from 7 o'clock p.m. to 11 o'clock p.m. entertained by a disc jockey giving us nice music.We saw many things like the Tower Bridge and Arsenal Stadium (well...I think it was) which really was impressing. The whole boat was full of students and young teachers, so it was quite easy to get to know new people and to make new friends. I met there some French girls (Fathima, Elise etc.) who were very kind. We really enjoyed the party on the boat together. The funniest thing was that I was like the Matterhorn there because some Asian girls I became acquainted with the day before - but I only knew their names - wanted to take some photographs together with me. After the boat trip Elias - the other Swiss guy from Fribourg who's able to talk French and a bit German - and I went to the HaHa Bar near to the Embankment Station to get our last drink for that night.
