Hawaii travel news: Remembering Pearl Harbor + Maui Christmas Guide

USS Arizona Memorial in Pearl Harbor

Today is National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day. It was 82 years ago that this fateful attack happened. If you have ever visited Pearl Harbor and watched the short film that the park service shows, you’ve most likely been moved with sorrow and a great deal of reverence for the men and women who fought and died that day.

For readers who’ve been awaiting the release of our Maui Christmas Vacation Guide, it’s available now! We expect to have some additions between now and Christmas. Any new item will be designated by noting the date it’s added in gray font.

By the way, we’ve made quite a bit of progress on the guide for Maui New Year’s Eve. It’s a work in progress, but already has some helpful information. We hope to have a full release on that within a couple of weeks.
