Ashley took this photo at Ko Olina in May of 2019. With Ko Olina being on the west side of Oahu, it’s a wonderful spot to watch sunset. There something about the Ko Olina lagoons that seem to frame the sunsets perfectly.

Volcano News

There’s exciting news about Kilauea Volcano on Hawaii (Big) Island. After going on a pause last month, it’s erupting at Halema’uma’u Crater once again! This crater is located with Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. According to the Hawaiian Volcano Observatory Report for the USGS, Halema’uma’u erupted just after 4:30pm on Friday, January 5th.

Here’s a view of the crater taken from the webcam around the time of publishing.
