Expect a beautiful blend of North Indian dishes with western flavors. Exotic dishes like mustard and imli glazed salmon, prawn balchao theplas and thandai creme brulee will surprise you among many other whacky dishes on the menu. Perfect to catch up with a friend in the evening, the Hashtag Multicuisine Bistro is a humble bistro with a rooftop as well as an indoor seating. This is ideal for when you want to hang out with your friends, minus the jazz. Sit and admire the cityscape, as you gorge on the perpetual favourites - chilly paneer, chicken lollipop, jalapeno cheese poppers, and the likes. Wash it down, with some super yum shakes - oreo, KitKat, bounty or their signature special, the choice is yours. All this at a good reasonable price. Total chill scenes, we say!

Cuisines offered: Continental, Italian, Chinese
Cost for two: 800 for two people (approx.)
Must trys: Hashtag special pizza
Address: Shop 7, Nine Hills, Near Sunshree, Cloud 9, NIBM Road, Pune

8. Hippie @ heart, F C road

Oh, F C road! This is essentially where the actual 'chill scenes' started way back to probably our grandparents' time! For two main reasons, this practically is the heart of the city and secondly because Pune's first college was established here in 1885 - Fergusson College! So technically, there are more reasons than one, as to why F C road is still a favorite hangout of many. The hanging out, however, has had some major transformation, moving from Vaishali to some local bar cafes! Hippie at heart is one of those factors of transformation. Situated opposite FC's third gate, this is in fact very unlike what you would usually find in the area. The ambience will keep you engaged in spite of the slow service. The menu has some interesting fusion of cocktails, like Malwani cocktails, like Kokam LIT. Perfect for a quick drink post work!

Cuisines offered: Continental, Thai, Pizza
Cost for two: 1,150 for two people (approx.) with alcohol
Must trys: Kheema pao with a twist
Address: Tukaram Paduka Chowk, Ghole Road, Off FC Road, FC Road, Pune

9. Chaitanya Paranthas, Baner

Chaitanya Paranthas has long been a synonym to wholesome lunch for college goers, ever since it first came up opposite Fergusson College. Generously stuffed parantha, topped with a  good helping of butter is accompanied by a serving of curd, salad and the classic green chutney. Following this with a glass of a lassi, make for the ideal dolle-sholle wala meal, and here it is not even heavy on your pocket! The menu consists of some great parantha options and some Chinese dishes. The surrounding IT location and many residents from outside the city benefit by this newly opened branch in Baner. Ideal to grab a quick bite as you head back from work or college!

Cuisines offered: North Indian, Chinese
Cost for two: 350 for two people (approx.)
Must trys: Peshawari parantha
Address: Shop 2, Laxmi Plaza, Opposite Primrose Mall, Baner, Pune

Sadashiv Peth sure has a plethora of great restaurants serving some lip-smacking Maharashtrian non-vegetarian delicacies, but what if you might just want to go a little out of the way and try a restaurant that serves Punjabi food along with some Maharashtrian nonveg dishes too?! If this sounds like something you would probably do while in Sadashiv Peth, Spice Route has your back!

Cuisines offered: North Indian
