The property was originally a working horse ranch before its transformation as an inn in the 1980’s. TheInn’s original barn included a tack room, breezeway, hay loft, and three-stall horse barn. The horse stalls were transformed into the now cozy guest lounge. The loft was converted into a multi-purpose room. On-site retreats, community events, business meetings, and workshops are typically held here. The tack room was converted into a bathroom for staff and storage space. The breezeway houses storage for housekeeping and maintenance. The old “hitching post” is still on-site located near cabin number one and is now covered with flowering honeysuckles.

Rustic Reigns Supreme 

At first glance Quiet Creek cabins may appear as simple rustic cabins of the 40’s or 50’s. However, upon further inspection these cabins reveal a much more exciting experience.The cabins were specifically designed to emulate the countryside charm and beauty of earlier days. They come fully equipped with heating, plumbing, and other modern day amenities.

In 2013, the current owners of Quiet Creek Inn began re-vitalizing the grounds. Trails and landscape were constructed, updated flooring, new beds, new linens and towels, and fresh coats of paint were all added. In order to return the cabins to their original deep amber look, the exteriors of the cabins were sanded and re-oiled. 

All of the cabins come with a private entrance, bathroom, fireplaces, and private decks. The kitchen is equipped with a small refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, basic kitchen tools, cutlery, and glassware.  In-cabin technology includes digital HD television with including premium channels like HBO, Showtime, and Starz, along with, on-demand digital movies and regular TV stations. WIFI access is available across the entire property including the cabins.

One bedroom Queen and King Suites boast kitchenettes with sinks and two-burner stoves, sleeper sofas with memory foam integrated mattresses, with the ability to comfortably accommodate up to five guests.  

The most luxurious room at Quiet Creek is the King Premium 1 Bedroom Suite. Along with the aforementioned amenities, this suite includes a king sized bed and expanded private deck.

Quiet Creek Inn also offers  accommodations that are pet friendly. If bringing a pet, advanced notice must be given to ensure you’ll be in a pet-friendly cabin.

Adventure Awaits

Guests of Quiet Creek have exclusive use of Strawberry Creek. Strawberry Creek runs through the property. The cabin decks provide a stunning view of the creek as it runs directly below. There is a private path that runs along the creek. The creek is strictly no fishing but guests enjoy watching trout in the spring, bird watching, and squirrel watching.

Guests of the inn have a wide range of activities to choose from when staying on the property. For the active adventurer, horseshoes and hiking are readily available. For the more mellow relaxer, chairs can be found spaced out all over the sereneground. Drink a cup of coffee, tea, or wine and relax watching the gifts of nature. Two hammocks are also available on the property. Grab your favorite book or take a nap in nature. 3D puzzles, checkers, chess, and other assorted games can be found in the guest lounge. Also available is an assortment of teas and microwavable popcorn. Stay and play or take agame back to your cabin.  A 15-20 minute walk or 3-minute car ride, leads Quiet Creek Inn guests to the heart of the Idyllwild village.
