Amsterdam’s Canal Cruises have officially opened to welcome all visitors. However, strict guidelines have been advised by the authorities in order to provide a safe and seamless experience.

Safety Measures Followed Onboard Amsterdam Canal Cruises


To ensure everyone’s safety on board, additional safety measures are being stringently followed on all boat rides. The boats will run on limited capacity and passengers are required to keep a 1.5 meters distance. There will be fixed walking routes and extra attention will be paid to hygiene.

Several disinfection dispensers will be available on location and guests are required to disinfect their hands before boarding the ticketing office and boat. The toilets and the aft deck will remain closed and no groups are allowed to form on the dock or sidewalk.
