London restaurant reviews

Brasserie Chavot, Mayfair. Eric Chavot a Michelin Star chef open in March 2012 this French Brasserie proposing a delicious French and Mediterranean cuisine. I had the best Ceviche I ever taste for a long time and a very delicious Cod with Chorizo.

Social Eating House. Soho.Poland street. Jason Atherton's new venue after Pollen Street Social and Little Social. I have to admit this one is probably my favorite. Really enjoy the food and the atmosphere. We sit at the bar and watch the mixologist preparing cocktails.

Very cool , good innovative cuisine.

La Chapelle. City. French gastronomique restaurant.
Superbe converted chapel, the building itself is breathtaking. you also have a very nice terrace outside with trees.
Chateaubriand seams to be the signature dish of the chef Galvin. It is nice to see that this cut is still available (cannot find it anymore in France even in my excellent Butcher).
I took the suggestion of the day, steak tartare and chicken filet as a main course, both delicious. The chicken was very jucy and tasty

Barrafina, Soho

Ohlala the stuffed squid with girolles mushroom and black ink sauce special is just excellent and as you can see a pleasure for the eyes also.
Really one of my best place for lunch.

The Hart brothers are preparing a new opening in Covent garden. A Barrafina bis with seated space. Exciting

Burger&Lobster, Soho
I have been lucking for once I did not see a queue to get there. However, as a result it was empty and the service was not as good as usually they were to busy chatting to each other or folding some napkins. So no I did not have the full nice experience I have been described. But the lobster was delicious.
