Tai Po, one of the Hong Kong's 18 Districts. In the lush, green valley of Lam Tsuen (Lin Village) stand the enchanting Wishing Trees, laden with colourful pieces of paper. According to tradition, people in Hong Kong believe that wisher will write their wishes on the bundle of paper and throw them into the air. Their wish will be granted if the paper catches on the trees of many branches.
I went to this wishing tree before and it was a real fun.
Nevertheless, besides the wishing trees, you can also experience a total different lifestyle of people in Hong Kong. You may also grab some tit bits of Lin Village there. Those tit bits are the traditional tit bits and You would'nt able to get any when you get back to the city in Hong Kong.
