Dubai International Airport

Located in the Al Garhoud district, it is amongst the busiest airports in the world operating with only 2 runways. As much as 83.6 million passengers, 2.59 million tons of cargo and 418,220 aircraft movements have been witnessed here. Covering an area of 2900 hectares,  Dubai International Airport is an important contributor to the country’s economy accounting to 21% of employment in Dubai.

Los Angeles International Airport

It is amongst the largest international airports in the United States with four parallel runways. The airport has 9 passenger terminals that are arranged in the shape of a horseshoe. Almost 80,921,527 passengers have been handled here which makes it one of the busiest airports in terms of passenger traffic.

Tokyo International Airport

Also known a the Haneda Airport, there are 3 terminals and the airport is open 24 hours. This airport once handled 75,316,718 passengers although it is equipped to handle as many as 90 million passengers in a year.

Chicago O’Hare International Airport

Providing direct service to as many as 208 destinations, this international airport has four terminals. Once it was amongst the list of busiest airports in the world in terms of flight takeoffs and landings. This airport is also distinctive for its eight runways.
