What’s Happening in Taipei: July Events

There are many events this Taipei in July to look forward to. Here are my top picks for the month!

Dear Taipei,

We’ve now shifted into the second half of the year, and the sun is making it known. If it’s your first time in Taipei during July, expect it to get even hotter than these last couple of months passed.

If you’re figuring out how to spend your month, here’s the best mix of indoor and outdoor events this month in Taipei. Either cool down with an relaxing indoor event, like the Taipei Film Festival or the Culture and Coffee Festival, or just make the most of the heat by heading to one of the many outdoor events.

As usual, I’ve picked out 5 particularly interesting events for my monthly events round up for Travelog. Read the article, Taipei this July, as it’ll outline a lot more info about these events. I’ve indicated them below with an event picture.

I’ve also included some more unique events to check out this July below. I’ll add to the list as more events get released. Enjoy!

July Events in Taipei

Miniature Calendar (All month long)

The Japanese artist has become well known for his wondrously quirky and smart artworks. (Image credit: Tanaka Tatsuya)

One of my top picks for the month is this fantastic exhibition by Japanese artist Tanaka Tatsuya. He is famous for his gorgeously pieced together miniature installations. I happened to come across his work on one of those rare procrastination sessions on the net I have (ahem), and have been a huge fan ever since. Very excited to see his work in person! For more info, check out this page.

(Fun fact: did you know Taipei has a miniatures museum?)
