Today’s edition of Christmas in Paris 2021 is about Printmemps Illustrations of a snowfall on December 25 have been drawn by French artist Aurelia Fronty. The snowstorm stops the production of gifts at Santa’s workshop, which leads to Santa’s elves quickly traveling the globe to save Christmas. The illustrations come alive via animated blue elves taking on tasks such as helping out Santa by helping him sort out his gigantic pile of letters, holiday baking, and helping form a Chanel #5 bottle.
Every year Galeries Lafayette brings in a celebrity to officially launch the holiday windows and for 2021, they selected Omar Sy, star of the monster hit series Lupin, to do the job.
The theme this year is 1,2,3 CHRISTMAS, and features 11 windows with animated scenes of toys coming alive and attending a banquet with Santa and who then proceed to sing as a choir and hop on Santa’s sleigh. In the atrium of the store inside is the magnificent tree and it is decorated with toys and alongside, there’s a gigantic Santa floating up and down.
