The Bell Tower is home to a total of seventeen bells, commemorating Australia’s bicentennial celebrations in 1988. Twelve of these historic bells are from St Martin’s in the Field, a beautiful historic church in central London, which are recorded as being in existence from before the 14th century. The remaining bells were cast especially for the Bell Tower.
