Top Things To Do In Fremantle (Freo)

The City of Fremantle, just 30 minutes from Perth City, began its life as a bustling landing port for the early Swan River settlement. Standing the test of time, Fremantle is renown for its eclectic mix of markets, arts, theatre and music. With the famous Freo markets, an awesome selection of historic buildings to explore plus great trendy bars and cafes, whiling the time away in Freo is too easy.

Fremantle Markets
Take your time as you browse (and haggle) at The Freo Markets have been around for 100 years, and boasts a massive variety of stalls selling everything from local produce, clothing and a huge array of other items.

Fremantle Prison
Take a step back in time and experience some of Western Australia’s convict past.

Bathers Beach House
Enjoy the vibe and a cocktail on the white sandy beach at Bather’s Beach House, Perth’s trendy beachfront restaurant.

Little Creatures
A favourite among the craft beer drinkers, Little Creatures serves up great pizza in the restaurant next to their craft brewery. Beer-making tours are also on offer.
