Situated right in the heart of the Jarrah Forrest in the Bickley Valley, Masonmill Gardens offers a taste of old English Gardens, magnificent views from the restaurant topped off with mini-golf and a play area for the kids.

Situated just 25 minutes east of Perth, we celebrated a birthday at Masonmill Gardens over the weekend. The restaurant offers fantastic dining opportunities and a great spot for high tea with sweeping views over the rose gardens from the outdoor balcony. The more casual and recently renovated Irish Village offers a more relaxed dining feels with some great beers on tap.

After you have eaten your fill, take a stroll through their beautiful gardens and make sure you don’t miss the lake teeming with Koi – watching them scramble for fish food is quite a sight to behold!

At the bottom of the hill is the Mini Golf course –  although we didn’t play, it looked like a fun activity in gorgeous surroundings. Finally, the nature playground was a hit with the kids!
