Busselton foreshore
The Busselton Jetty, with its iconic 4 buildings, has the longest wooden jetty in the southern hemisphere. Stretching almost 2km into the beautiful Indian Ocean, the pier was originally built in the shallow waters to allow timber to be transported to ships. Today, the jetty forms a major tourist attraction, offering locals and visitors alike train trips along the jetty to an underwater observatory. Here you’ll descend eight metres (26 feet) below the surface to an observation chamber, to view coral and vividly coloured tropical and subtropical fish at the artificial reef.
