Situated just east of the City of Perth and a mere 25 minute drive, the Swan Valley is historically famous for producing top quality wines from its countless vineyards.

Today, the Swan Valley is home to an ever increasing number of restaurants, cafes, breweries, wineries, galleries, activities, wildlife centers and so much more.

Getting to and around the Swan Valley

The Swan Valley is spread out over a large area and surrounded by natural Australian bush.

There are a variety of ways to get to and around the Swan Valley. Renting a car or bus and self driving, will only take 25 minutes from the city. You can take a leisurely drive around the Swan Valley or follow one of the itineraries from the Swan Valley Visitor Center. River cruising along the Swan River is another popular way to get to the Swan Valley without having to manage the driving. Day tours are probably the easiest way to explore the area, without having to worry about driving afterwards. Half day trips and full day trips are available to visit wineries or take a foodie tour such as The Swan Valley Half Day Tour.
