Guide to earning Qantas Points at the Qantas Online Mall
This is a quick overview of the Qantas Online Mall for those who aren’t familiar with the concept or the retailers in it, or want a refresher.
Online Malls work by ensuring you log in with your Frequent Flyer program credentials before then being referred out (with a click) once logged in to make a transaction over on the retailer’s website.
The Qantas Online Mall is no different, and launched back in 2014 in Australia with just a handful of retailers, and is now also accessible from New Zealand.
You can find it at https://onlinemallnz.qantaspoints.com

If Qantas Points are your ‘currency’ of choice, remember to use a credit card that will allow you to also earn Qantas Points through general spend – in New Zealand, your best bet will either be the Amex Platinum Edge, or Platinum Charge.
Other Online Malls like the Air New Zealand Airpoints Mall, Velocity estore, Krisflyer Spree, and Asia Miles iShop also carry some of the retailers and are other key ways to earn points in New Zealand from online purchases.
One advantage for Qantas is that they have mobile optimised their Online Mall website. This makes it, I’d say, about twice as fast to get into the online store you’re purchasing from if you are on your mobile, which is pretty handy.
The NZ Qantas Points Mall is worth keeping bookmarked now that a number of partners are accessible to New Zealand Qantas Frequent Flyer members – make sure you get across the full list of partners over on the Online Mall site to see if there are any that work well for you.
