In the words of George Bernard Shaw, “A happy Family is but an earlier heaven”.

My father was a very hardworking businessman.  He did very well for himself and his family.  His work schedule though was crazy – early mornings, late nights and the travels took up years of his time.  But, I liked one habit of his very much.  However busy he was, he always made time for us, his family, on Sundays.  This was the golden rule that he followed all through his life.  He did not want to miss out on spending time with his loved ones and watching his children grow.  The long drives, the board games, the meals that we shared,  camping, fishing and all the other fun stuff that we siblings shared with him have become lifetime memories.
