Cueva de Los Verdes:

Visit the worlds longest lava-tube which also happens to be a byproduct of the volcanic formation. This 6-kilometre long tube was a result of the outburst of La Corona volcano around 5,000 years ago. This long tunnel came alive due to the Fluid lava that sunk and cooled down which lead to the rock solidifying towards the sea. These caves were a spot for refuges who were taking shelter when Barbary corsairs ordered raids. Caves are always interesting, isn’t it? This zone was found in 1730 when Timanfaya erupted out of the blue. Even though the entire landscape in this park looks like a post-apocalyptic wasteland it is a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve which is a sight to sore eyes.
