The Resort Studio rooms are located in the Big Pine Key building which is very close to the main building. The location makes it very convenient to get to the dining options and transportation. Not only is the building close to the main building but it's also across from the Courtyard Pool and Courtyard Pool Bar.

When you enter Big Pine Key, you're greeted with a simply lovely lobby. The furniture is super cute and gives off a very cozy, chic vibe. There's lots of pastel colors with floral prints and touches of nature.

The chic, nature inspired vibe continues down the hallways and into the Resort Studio rooms. I couldn't love these rooms more!
Entering the room, there's a desk with bench and mirror on one side and a small coffee station on the other side. The main difference between the Resort Studio and Deluxe Studio rooms is it's missing the small kitchenette area. What it has instead is this small area with beverage cooler, Keurig coffee maker and a microwave. As a DVC member, these rooms feel a lot more like a normal hotel room than the Deluxe Studios you may be used to. That's not a bad thing but it's just different.

The main area of the room is very spacious. The rooms sleep up to 5 adults with 2 queen beds and a sofa that folds down into a day bed. There's a small nightstand between the 2 beds and there's also a small shelf next to each bed where you can put your phone or glasses. There are USB outlets at each location which is really convenient.
There's a closet next to the beds with plenty of space to store your luggage and clothes. You'll also find robes, hangers, suitcase stand, extra pillow and blanket, and a safe to store your valuables. There's also a dresser under the TV with additional USB outlets for charging.
One of my favorite details in the room is the chandelier. The chandelier is gold with glass birds and if you look closely, you'll spot one of the birds is actually a penguin.
The views available with the Resort Studio rooms are a Standard, Lagoon or Theme Park View. Standard View rooms include views of courtyards, landscaping, monorail or parking area. Lagoon View rooms offer views of the Seven Seas Lagoon and the Theme Park View rooms offer views of Magic Kingdom Park. We were lucky enough to book a Theme Park View on our recent stay and it was a real treat to be able to look out our window and see the Magic Kingdom. At night, we could see the fireworks and the Electrical Water Pageant from our patio.
If the gorgeous rooms aren't enough of a reason to stay at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort, it's one of the monorail resorts which means you're just a quick ride away from the Magic Kingdom and a hop, skip and a jump away from Epcot by means of transferring monorails at the Transportation & Ticket Center. If you plan on spending a lot of time at the Magic Kingdom, there's also a walking path and a ferry boat so you have a few transportation options to get to the park. Count that as another major bonus of staying at this resort!
Don't worry if you aren't a Disney Vacation Club member. Although DVC members have access to these rooms you don't have to be DVC to book. The general public can also book the Resort Studio rooms as long as there is availability.
If you couldn't tell, I am absolutely in love with the Resort Studio rooms and would 100% stay in these rooms on any Walt Disney World vacation. Between the gorgeous, spacious rooms and the resort's location, it's hard to beat!
