If you've never been to the Contemporary, it's worth a visit. Architecturally, it's awesome, as the monorails drive right through it every few minutes. It also has a 3-story tall Mary Blair painting that you'll see when you hop off. This resort is also home to Chef Mickey's sit down buffet with Mickey and Friends. The two gift shops here are pretty big, and often have things that Magic Kingdom is sold out of. They have a bakery counter with Mickey inside the gift shop too.

We placed a mobile order while on the monorail, and after about 10 minutes of disembarking, the food was ready for pick up. They have ample seating so you can watch the monorail come and go while you eat. We like to try to guess which color is coming through next!
I ordered the Signature Hot Turkey Sandwich, which was so tasty! It comes with roasted turkey, arugula, sliced tomato and white cheddar. It comes with bacon, too, but I ordered it without. The dressing is a cranberry aioli, which made it taste like Thanksgiving dinner! It was served on a soft, yet toasted multigrain bread.
It was a nice, thick sandwich and very filling. The cranberry aioli didn't make it soggy at all. It was a perfect amount. If you're taking it to go, I would order the sauce on the side though.

My husband had the Spicy Chicken Sandwich. He said the house-made chipotle sauce was perfect. The chicken breast was grilled perfect and juicy. The toppings it generally comes with are feta, pickles, and tomato. I think he subbed pickle for lettuce. It comes with a side of french fries too.
My kids loved seeing the holiday desserts on display here. They all look so delicious!
The kids ordered the Chicken Nuggets, Cheeseburger, and Cheese Flatbread. These are the typical kids meals found all over property, but they love the simplicity and the good choices of sides.
If you want a delicious beer, try the Schofferhoffer Pink Grapefruit Hefeweizen, my personal favorite. If you're a wine drinker, they have Copa and Parducci wines.
Some desserts change by the season, and I was lucky enough to get a Gingerbread Boy cookie when we were there (the BEST gingerbread ever!) The current seasonal dessert is the Valentine's Day Cinnamon Candy Cupcake. It has vanilla buttercream and Mickey and Minnie chocolate garnish.
One of the desserts that's always available is the Cinderella Cupcake, which has pumpkin filling and a white chocolate glass slipper and pumpkin on top! It's such a cute cupcake!
The other two are the Mickey Ears Cupcake, and the Monorail Cookies n' Cream Cupcake. For a more sophisticated palate, try the Flourless Chocolate Cake, topped with a dark chocolate and raspberry glaze.
Didn't get a Mickey Premium Bar or Ice Cream Sandwich in the park? No worries, they are available here! They have a plant based option for each meal too.
Stop in at the Contempo Café for egg, ham, and cheese breakfast sandwiches and a coffee before hitting the Magic Kingdom.
