Photo Tour: Epcot with Social Distancing

Are you wondering how Epcot is with all the construction plus social distancing measures?  Wonder no more! Today we have a photo tour through the park during the 2020 Taste of the International Food and Wine Festival with lots of Future World still under construction.

Of course you are probably wondering how the crowds were.  We visited Epcot on two different days, both days crowds were very light and very manageable.  On Friday, in typical Epcot fashion, the crowds did start to build towards the evening.  However, lines for food booths were still only a few parties deep (but they look longer with social distancing) so it seemed like they remained manageable.

The construction walls are up in Future World which did make for a bit of a different experience, but mostly you just had to take some different paths.  There was ample signage and the walls are decorated quite nicely in many locations.

These walls don't take away from the actual rides themselves, which are still great as ever!  However, the interactive play areas after the rides are currently closed for everyone's safety. Be sure to stop by The Epcot Experience in the Odyssey Pavilion to see all the neat things coming to this park.

Social distancing measures are in place throughout the park.  There was everything from one way paths, to queue spacing, to attraction theaters closing rows and seats and even mobile touch-free menus.
Then we get to my favorite part of Epcot, World Showcase.  We couldn't believe how empty it was (especially earlier in the day) and got some beautiful views of the pavilions.
Like the other parks, the character interactions were a bit different in Epcot.  There were several characters who would make little treks through parts of World Showcase.  We saw Anna and Elsa quite a bit and also saw the Fab Five! But the highlight was a little selfie station (or your other party member can take your photos) with Mary Poppins in the UK Pavilion Gardens! There was no Photopass Photographer here.
The Relaxation Station we found in Epcot was a bit different, as this one was inside!  What a great use of a restaurant space that hasn't opened back up yet.
Here are a few photos of the food options, a handful of restaurants are open around the World Showcase (both Table Service and Quick Service) but the festival booths also have a lot of great options (More on the 2020 Taste of Food and Wine Festival)
Finally, just a few more photos for your enjoyment from around the park and the Skyliner.
