CityWalk at Universal Orlando Resort is a shopping, dining and entertainment district filled with lots of delicious options for your dining pleasure. Vivo Italian Kitchen is centrally located within it and is definitely one of our favorite options for dinner after a day at the Universal Orlando theme parks. The price points are reasonable, there's something for everyone on the menu, and the service is friendly.
Once settled, you are brought fresh bread and olive oil. Be careful not to fill up on this yumminess, as you'll want to save room for your entrees!
We started our meal with some appetizers - calamari and mussels. Both were fresh and delicious, with the classic crispy calamari being my personal favorite. They also have an antipasto appetizer that we almost ordered that can be a great choice for non-seafood fans.

Once we finished our appetizers, our entrees came out. All of the pasta is made fresh here, so we all opted for a pasta dish (or a dish with pasta in it). Everything we tried was very delicious, with the family favorite being the lasagna! All lasagna is now compared to this square of delight, it was
that good. I also have a special fondness for their fettuccine alfredo, as growing up my mom always made it with ham and peas, so it was a nice memory to see and taste it with peas!

With social distancing measures currently in place at Universal CityWalk, the wait for dinner can get a little long (about an hour when arriving 30 minutes after park closing). We recommend trying to get to a restaurant slightly before the parks close, or at least an hour after closing for shorter wait times for a table.
We were too stuffed to try any desserts, but given the quality of all the other food we sampled, we believe they would also be just delicious!
