I’ve not been fishing for years! I used to kick about Tarbert pontoons with a rod trying to catch Fish and every so often Dad would take me out on the boat and we would get mackerel for T. One time we saw a minke whale breach! Vivian was keen to try our luck at catching some fish and maybe cooking them too. We bought 2 rods with reels, some spinners, feathers and weights and headed to Carsaig bay, Tayvallich. After trekking out to a point I cast off and to my surprise hauled in 2 Mackerel! I had forgotten how much fun this was!
