 Purple Food Eatery – Created by Chefs David Shipman and Michelle Ducan. The truck was built in 2010 in Mississippi. The name Purple People Eatery comes from a film which features a one-eyed monster with a horn! This food truck’s awesome menu pays homage to an item from the movie. They specialize in creating fresh, freaky street food.

The menu, designed by Shipman and Duncan, pays homage to the film: each item represents one facet of the beast. From buffalo burgers to Mexican Coke, they offer a take on gourmet food found nowhere else in the Miami food trucks scene (purpleppleatery)

Gastropod – Miami native Chef Jeremiah, owner of the legendary Bullfrog Eats in Wynwood is the man behind the first-ever gourmet dining concept food truck in Miami. As one of the best food trucks in Miami, the menu on the gastroPod is constantly evolving with new and savory dishes. When you find them, try out their Old Dirt Dawg. What’s is it you ask, Old Dirt Dawg is smokey beef hot dog, potato bun & stupid slaw (maybe mustard, if you’re nice) + aged cheddar fondue, mustard seeds (Gastropod). This gem definitely makes the Miami food trucks scene a little more creative!

Sugar Yummy Mama – When you see a cute pink plaid truck in the streets of Miami, make sure to run over to Sugar Yummy Mama to satisfy your sweet tooth. This gourmet dessert truck offers exquisite cake balls, cup cakes and shooters and more! “We believe that Sugar Yummy Mama is a cultural experience associated with the culinary art of fine desserts”- Giselle Pinto, the owner of Sugar Yummy Mama.

Ms. Cheezious – Ah! Bring on the comfort food with a twist. Ms. Cheezious serves mouth watering grilled cheese sandwiches. Menu items also include soups, chili, and fries. They also let you build your own grilled cheese sandwich! Savor in the flavors of the different take on their grilled cheese sandwiches. You’ll want to go back for more.
