Today I want to talk about the Jangsan Mountain Waterfal! A beautiful place just a short hike away from where I live in Busan, South Korea. I had wanted to visit this site since I first landed in Korea back in October, but life is a busy thing and my boyfriend and I weren’t able to make the Trip until Christmas Eve.

The waterfall was a ways up the hill, but Jangsan had plenty to look at while we enjoyed the quiet atmosphere away from the city. There are Lots of little side trails that lead you off of the main path, which is where you will find several Buddhist temples, like the ones below.

All along the path you can see the riverbed of that the falls feed into. Given that it’s winter, the water is pretty low, so you can see lots of rocks, but I’m inclined to believe that the water would be higher come spring or summer (I’ll have to wander over and check it to see). It’s still a stunning view every time you look at it.

Our next trip will be to Seoul for three days starting the Monday after Christmas. It promises to be a fun adventure filled with bullet trains, the world’s larges IKEA store, shopping, sight-seeing, and lots of good food.
