Tags: beach

Mention the name Dubai to a close pal near you and they will tell you it’s the best beautiful place to go shopping. And I don’t dispute that fact! As a matter of fact, I have been to this country many times and I can testify that Dubai has worn the hearts of many visitors and shopaholics due to her great shopping reputation.

Located in United Arabs Emirates UAE and being one of the fastest developing desert city in the world, Dubai shopping reputation is noticeable like a wild fire. But there is much more to do, see and explore in this Arabic nation! A visit to Dubai without visiting its beaches isn’t a thrilling visit at all.

Here are some of the best 6 beaches I advice you should visit in your August vacation to Dubai!

Jumeirah Beach Hotel

The shape of this 5 star beach hotel is an attracting view. Though Jumeirah Beach hotel is a private beach it offers nothing less than other beaches. As a matter of fact, it exceeds and beats many beaches found in Dubai. It hosts plethora of water-sports activities that you can name. Children gather at Sinbad’s kids Club where any kid’s games are guaranteed. Access to this beach is through checking in Jumeirah Beach Hotel or you can visit it privately with a little or probably a hefty cost.

Kite Beach

Take your family to this kite beach and you will enjoy seeing beautiful kites in the air. It’s a gathering place for many kite lovers. Beach tennis, surfing, beach volleyball and other beach sports are part of this beach. The changing rooms, toilets and the beach itself have a wonderful great level of tidiness.

Cove Beach Dubai

The tranquility and cleanliness found in this white sandy beach in Jumeirah is ‘indescribable’. This private beach which never lacks visitors should be your next Dubai destination! The sight of the sun rising from the iconic luxurious 5-star hotel Burj Al Arab and setting as though sinking in the Arabian Gulf waters is something you should witness before you die. Cove beach offers you a bar, a restaurant and a nice lounge as you enjoy the vacation. Have I talked about the delicious types of cuisines and drinks this beach offers? I bet you should sample them first!

Jumeirah Beach

This white sandy beautiful beach that sits on coast of the Persian/Arabian Gulf is a must stop touring beach. Security is totally guaranteed with lifeguards always on duty. This beach is a bee-hive of activities with many people especially during the peak seasons playing beach games, sun-bathing, swimming or doing something else!

Al Mamzar Beach Park

Al Mamzar beach is another crowded beached just like the Jumeirah beach. Though it has few food outlets, the beach is a fascinating place to be. Security is usually at per. Lifeguards personnel’s never slumber in their work. The administration of this beach made two days in a week Mondays’ and Wednesday to be women and children’s beach days. Al Mamzar beach will quench your sporting water games to the fullest.

JBR Beach

Jumeirah Beach Residence is a clean loved and visited beach by both locals and tourist. The beach is located against the Persian Gulf in Dubai Marina. Do you really want your kids to enjoy a family vacation in Dubai? Then you have to bring them to this beach. Camel rides, water sports such as wake-boarding and parasailing are felt in this public beach. It’s the best fun beach destination for families, friends, and team-force. Next to it is The Beach at JBR and THE Walk at JBR which provide food outlets in plenty.

Burj Al Arab Beach

This popular beach that has a wide sketch is a one stop destination.  Near its vicinity is the Burj Al Arab hotel which is the world greatest luxurious hotel. In this beach, sports such as volleyball and footballs are very common. Visit this beach during the weekends and carry your notebook to note down the unforgettable beautiful things you will see.

The Island Beach Club

This island beach club is beach with two beaches within it. But the southern side beach is much livelier than the northern one. Get the opportunity to involve in games like kayaking, beach volleyball just to name but a few. The stunning Dubai skyline from this beach makes you crazy about Dubai.

Jumeirah Beach Park

Jumeirah Beach Park is actually the oldest beach in Dubai serving more than 25 years. It’s a beautiful public beach sitting on 13 hectares of public land. Although the beach was closed in 2014 to pave way for a Dubai canal project the good news is that it’s expected to be opened by the end of this year 2016. The beach has good wide grounds for beach volleyball, surfing and water related sports.

Black Palace

Black palace beach is a quiet public beach and probably one of the city’s secret beaches. This small strip beach offers you an awe-inspiring view, with the Burj Al Arab on the right, and The Palm Jumeirah in front of you. Black Palace is also the best spot destination during the New Year’s Eve due to amazing fireworks watching views it offers.

NB: Ladies must wear a full bikini or a swimsuit when on the public beaches and swimming in underwear is not allowed. Topless sunbathing is not allowed anywhere in Dubai and the wearing of thongs is not recommended! Beachwear should only be worn while on the beach and not while walking to or from the actual beach!
