Cayo Santa Maria

Cayo Santa Maria is an ideal setting for desert island dreamers. It is located at the western edge of the Camagüey Archipelago in Cuba's Villa Clara province.
With only eight all-inclusive resorts and no towns, it remains largely development-free. This secluded area is a perfect option if you prefer to lay back and relax on hammocks or beach chairs. With more than 30km of spectacular beaches, the cayos are basically large mounds of soft, white sand covered with palm trees and mangroves.

Exactly what we needed, The three beaches are all beautiful, with the best being in our opinion the one located over the Main Pool, perfect during mornings with a crystal clear water. The beach on the sunset beach is beautiful and always empty, ideal for pictures and long walks. The beach on the east side is the most busy and a little windy but perfect for bathing. The main pool is the busiest place in the resort with Latin music, food and drinks all day long, the secondary pool, always empty, free wifi near the lobby.
The rooms are indeed massive and beautiful, with a large sitting area, king size bed, jand outdoor showe). The balcony was a great size to sit and watch the world go by.
The food was better than expected in the three a la carte restaurants.
