Chile is one of the longest countries and mountains cover about 80 percent of its territory.
“Chilean” mountains are called the Andes or Andean Mountains and are the longest continental mountain range in the world. The Andes lay in Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Venezuela.

The highest peak of the Andes is Aconcagua (6961 meters or 22838 ft) and it lies in Argentina.

Jest to najdłuższy łańcuch górski zwany Andami. Andy znajdują się na terenie siedmiu państw Ameryki Południowej; w Argentynie, Boliwii, Chile, Ekwadorze, Kolumbii, Peru i Wenezueli.
