5. National Mango Research and Development Center
More than the scenic place and tourists’ spots, Guimaras is famous worldwide as the producer of the sweetest mangos. With more than fifty thousand mango trees planted in 5,200 hectares of land, the mangos here are indeed world-class in all aspects!

The museum is located inside the Provincial Capitol compound and is open for those who would like to see and discover more of the history of Guimaras. Artifacts, books, memorabilia, and the likes are all available here.

7. San Lorenzo Wind Farm (Guimaras Windmills)
Similar to what Ilocos has, Guimaras has 27 windmills located in San Lorenzo, Guimaras.
8. Natago Beach
From the word itself “natago,” the island is hidden in the far area of the place, and it is covered by the rock formation. In the area, there is a beach house which serves as accommodation for visitors. All in all, the place is simple yet peaceful and beautiful.

11. Taklong Island
The Taklong Island located in Nueva Valencia, Guimaras is part of the entire Taklong Island National Marine Reserve. The Island has white sand and is a great place for swimming. A family is employed to take care of the island.
12. Baras Cave and Beach
Given a chance to visit the place during low tide, you can ask the boatman to bring the boat inside and have a glimpse of its beauty. But if it’s already high tide, be content with the view from the outside since the boat cannot make it inside. Despite the situation, this cave still deserves exploration. As for the beach, it has white sand and equally pristine water plus the additional refreshing green trees in the surrounding.

13. Roca Encantadia
The Roca Encantadia or also commonly known as “Enchanted Rock” was built way back in 1920 and has undergone continuous restoration and renovation. Aside from its age, another fascinating about the place is that it is facing the seven islets as well as the color brown sand beach. This family-owned house of the generations of Lopez is the epitome of lasting and eternal old age houses.

14. Navalas Church (San Isidro Labrador Church)
Tested by time, tragedies, and calamities, the San Isidro Labrador Church or locally known as Navalas Church is the oldest and existing Roman Catholic Church. Built way back in the year 1880, the coral stone-built structure is merely a gem amidst the province.

The area serves as the haven of turtles or also commonly known as pawikan. Additionally, the white sand along the long stretch of shore and the pristine clear water is equally beautiful and fascinating.

16. Smallest Plaza
This plaza is called the smallest plaza for the reason that it is indeed the smallest in size in the entire country. As a welcoming point in visiting Guimaras, the proud and astute statue of the national hero, Dr.Jose Rizal, is here to welcome you.

Well, Guimaras is famous for varied reasons and one of which is the ability of the place to come up with a place like this.
