Summer holidays in Kent 2017 – FREE things to do this Summer holidays

Summer holidays can often be an expensive time for families. Six weeks of time to fill – so what is there to do? You still have just less than a month to start planning (if you haven’t started planning already!), so here are a few ideas to help you out.

When it comes to summer holidays, most families are now opting for short breaks and holidays in England rather than going abroad, as this allows more flexibility and will generally cost considerably less. On that basis, a popular choice for many families is camping and caravanning breaks.

Camping and caravanning is not only cheaper than staying in most hotels with pitches starting from just £17 per night (click here for our touring park charges), but it also offers so much more, and Kent is a particularly popular destination for UK Holidays and caravan breaks as there is so much to do. Pitch up and explore! Take a look at our camping guide if it is your first time camping.

As summer holidays can be expensive, we thought we would help you out with a list of fun days out, even completely FREE things to do this summer holidays! The best parks, beaches and cheap days out.
