Summer 2017 began early at Hawthorn Farm. Several rallies and groups of motorhomes, caravan owners and tent lovers have already enjoyed some amazing weather and the lush green surroundings of our park.

With hopefully many more balmy evenings to come this season, there is no better time to get away from it all and Hawthorn Farm looks forward to welcoming lots of happy campers & holiday home owners soon. Advance bookings are advised, but not always necessary. Please contact us for further details.

There are some special events happening nearby during the coming months. In early July the Deal Festival fills the town with cultural delights including; music, a street carnival, art and food galore. Dover still currently has its Banksy Brexit Mural, well worth a look whilst it is on display and the popular Dover Castle special event weekends include a fabulous jousting contest this summer.

Open Gardens are at their best now, The Secret Gardens at Sandwich and The Pines Gardens at St Margaret’s Bay are both within easy reach of Hawthorn Farm.

We are lucky to have a train station in Martin Mill, with regular services that will take you into the centre of Dover, Deal or further afield if you prefer.

If you have children, have you discovered Betteshanger Park or Walmer Paddling Pool? Or right here on our doorstep is the village playground with its giant slide, zip wire and lots more for kids of all ages. Pick up a map and more information from our on site tourist information office, next to reception. If you have stayed with us before you may have noticed the cafe/shop now has a new decked area for more diners to enjoy alfresco meals and drinks.

So, despite being in the countryside, Hawthorn Farm is a great base for exploring this little corner of East Kent. Why not stopover a bit longer on your next visit to make the most of what is on offer.
