What’s on this May? Spring is well under way now and May is packed with interesting and fun events for all the family. Flowers, trails, cars and animals – there is something for everyone.

Great Tower at Night – Visit Dover Castle after dark, exploring inside the castle and even seeing the views from the rooftop of the castle. Animal Parks – Zoos and animal parks offer a great day out for everyone. Whether it’s rain or shine, you can’t beat visiting rare breeds, playful primates and all creatures great and small. We are lucky enough to have three great parks in Kent; Port Lympne Reserve, Howletts and Wingham Wildlife Park. Motors by The Moat – If you have a passion for cars, this event is definitely one for you. Situated on the beautiful lawns of the magnificent Leeds Castle, with vintage, classic, high performance and novelty motors on display. In addition, there will be plenty of other entertainment for the whole family making it a great day out for all. Taking place on 6th – 7th May at Leeds Castle. Rainbow Run for Heart of Kent Hospice – If you’re feeling active and don’t mind getting messy, why not take part in the Rainbow Run for Heart of Kent Hospice taking place on 14th May in Mote Park, Kent’s most colourful event of the year! Viking Coastal Trail – If cycling is your thing, why not give the Viking Coastal Trail a go?
