We are very proud to announce that HeliSpirit were awarded the Sir David Brand Award for Tourism at the 2021 Perth Airport WA Tourism Awards over the weekend.

This award is the highest honour in Western Australian tourism and is reserved for those who demonstrate an outstanding contribution to the tourism industry through the ongoing contribution, pursuit of excellence, strong advocacy of the region, innovation and the positive image they promote. It recognises HeliSpirit as one of the best operators in the tourism industry.

HeliSpirit also took home Gold in the Major Tour & Transport Operator category and Silver in the Adventure Tourism category.

These awards are recognition of the hard work and dedication our team has put in over the last couple of years. There’s no doubt it has been a challenging time, however it has been rewarding to see what we have achieved both as a team and by working with others in the industry. This includes developing new product in the Pilbara and setting up a new base in Esperance, the furthest south HeliSpirit has ventured yet!

We would also like to congratulate all other finalists, especially Kimberleyland Waterfront Holiday Park for taking out Gold in their respective awards category, a wonderful achievement. This is a very exciting time for the East Kimberley, Pilbara and Golden Outback, and we look forward to representing these regions at the Australian Tourism Awards in March.
