Now Jason lett administers his father’s inheritance and continues to use the same gentle touch method of picking the grapes at the stage where it’s varietal qualities are at peak to achieve the best results. The Eyrie Vineyards and the tasting room remains open from noon to 5 PM every day. Next on the list is this majestic, and the most elegant vineyard commenced nearly 30 years ago in a perfectly picturesque location in the Willamette Valley. Started by the Evenstad family in the 42 acre-hilltop estate is now known as the Domaine Serene. The estate produces wine from six different vineyards, each of them with a diverse characteristic. The diversity of the soils, microclimate, and the slopes is what adds a touch of elegance to their wines. The Evenstad family runs the Domaine Serene and has established a renowned family name in the luxury wine industry of Oregon. The best part about this estate is the private tasting that happens in one of their caves. The casual drop-in tasting welcomes visitors from 11 AM to 5 PM every day in the tasting room. 3. Ponzi Vineyards

Established in the year 1970 by the Ponzi Family, Ponzi Vineyards beholds an excellent reputation for its wines. The Ponzi family also played a vital role in making the Willamette Valley wine region a place for known exceptional wine in the whole world. In recent times, the winery has obtained enormous popularity for producing the daintiest chardonnay, pinot noir, and pinot gris. The Ponzi Vineyards offers a beautiful view of the neighboring vineyards and the Chehalem Mountains, located just 30 minutes away from Portland. This place exudes both classic and cozy vibes as the tasting room offers a lovely fireside seating, beautiful views of the mountains from the beautiful closed terrace and a bocce ball court as well. You could taste some of the best pinot noir accompanied by delicious food delicacies from 11:30 AM to 5:30 PM every day.

Rex Hill boasts of the elegant pinot noirs it produces through their practical winemaking practices for the past 30 years now. It’s one of those places where you could enjoy the nicest chardonnay and pinot noir wines in a vintage rustic tasting room. The strong pillars of this winery are its hand-picked limited release wines produced in small quantities that visitors can enjoy for 15 USD per person. On the contrary, a collection of vintage wines known as the reserve flight costs 30 USD per person. Hit the Rex Hill winery between 10 AM to 5 PM, seven days a week.

5. Anne Amie Vineyards

Amidst all the traditional vineyards, buckle up to indulge in a unique experience of wine tasting that includes activities like stargazing, wine and food festivals, etc. This vineyard hosts many events like “Counter Culture,” urban street food and wine festival where visitors can relish world-class street food alongside their best in class choices of wine. Also, in collaboration with the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry, they host “Planets and Pinot,” an exclusive stargazing event to have a look at the stars and neighboring planets through mobile telescopes. That’s not all, visitors get to carry blankets, picnic dinner and set it up on the beautiful grounds to watch the sunset through the valley during the “Sun Sets” event hosted by the Anne Amie Vineyards. .
