The Kameha Grand Hotel's Space Suite Is Otherworldly

There are plenty of unique hotel rooms out there and many of them were designed to cater to the needs of luxury enthusiasts, but what about those of you who're looking for a more "out of this world" experience? Well, a simple trip to the Kameha Grand Hotel in Zurich will quench your thirst for Sci-Fi and space exploration, as this is where you'll find the outstanding Space Suite, which was designed by a German artist named Michael Najjar.

Inspired in its design by futuristic space stations, the Suite boasts cold tones of gray, white and black, whether we're talking about the furniture, the decor pieces or the sublime art that adorns the walls. The Space Suite features numerous outer-space-related items and amenities, including a pair of space suite gloves that can be used to hold mobile handsets, as well as mirrored surfaces on the tables and windows. There's even a special lighting system that resembles a rocket engine, which was created using 3D printing technology.

Sci-Fi-inspired facilities include a "Sleeping Module" in the bedroom, which seems to be suspended mid-air as if gravity was completely absent. The bed looks just like the Monolith from "A Space Odyssey", while the ceilings and carpets were designed to resemble images captured using the Hubble Telescope. The room also includes handpicked literature from non-fiction and fiction genres. If you're a Sci-Fi enthusiast, then you should definitely spend at least one night at the Kameha Grand Hotel's Space Suite.
