Zanzibar is famed among many tourists as a paradise island whose serenity, culture, and hospitality are unbeatable and irreplaceable. The white powdery beaches, affluence of Arabic culture, traditional shows, aromas of spices, quaint alleys, and blissful stays by the ocean are some of the island’s unique features luring all kinds of travelers from honeymooners to families, adventurers, and solo travelers.

The capital of Stone Town, The UNESCO World Heritage Site holds its own charms, appeasing travelers with its narrow alleyways, ornate carved Arabic wooden doorways, hidden cafes, street markets, and roadside stalls. Besides being a shopping hub of gorgeous paintings, Tanzanite stones, and unique souvenirs, Stone Town is rich in history and takes travelers through a nostalgic journey of the slave trade of the 19th century.

The Jozani Forest is home to Zanzibar Red Colobus Monkey renowned for photographic journeys and a wealth of exotic plants and wildlife. Spice Tours introduce travelers to rich fertile soil that grows the wealth of spices in Zanzibar. Most travelers begin and end their Zanzibar holiday on the white coral sand beaches, where you can find a secluded spot to relax and watch the waves. The beach-facing hotels, lodges, and resorts can accommodate guests of various budgets while offering a number of recreation options from deep-sea diving to snorkeling and dhow cruises. Zanzibar beaches are famous worldwide and hold a commendable ranking on international recommendations such as Tripadvisor and popular travel magazines.

Pemba- The luxury, secluded island

Fundu Lagoon, a hidden gen on Pemba Island

Pemba, only 50 kilometers away from Zanzibar, is of unique character, favored among a handful of travelers. The island is remote and famed as a world-diving spot among deep-sea divers and water sports enthusiasts.

The small villages of the island have had minimal impact on the coastline and reefs, leaving the richness of the ocean in pristine conditions. And this abundance often excites travelers as they watch endless stretches of coral reefs, large pelagic fishes swimming in the ocean, thousands of brightly colored small varieties plunging in drop-offs, and turquoise waters of the shallows.

The landscape is hilly and forested with the title bestowed to it as the green island, the people immeasurably friendly and the culture-rich. Pemba is very fertile and always seems greener and more arable than Zanzibar Island. It produces far more cloves than Zanzibar – and it is the economy is far less dependent on tourism alone.
